The Saint Thomas Aquinas Choir

"MAY GOD GIVE US FAITH TO SING ALWAYS"

This is a fun and exciting way to meet new people with the same interest in good music and a chance to form lasting memories. We sing a wide repertoire of music from Gregorian chant, and the polyphonic master works of Byrd and Palestrina to Bach and Brahms. You will have the opportunity to develop your singing and musicality to its optimum potential as well as be part of any recordings or tours which the Choir may make. Some students may be eligible for scholarships and all Choir members will receive both monthly theory lessons and private voice lessons at no cost.

In addition to singing in the choir there are many opportunities for instrumentalists, artists, and soloists. From our concert series and Feast Days to our many special events you'll surely find your niche.

Rehearsals are now on Thursdays from 6PM – 8PM. We sing every Sunday at the 9AM Mass and for many special concerts, feast days, and solemnities. As usual anyone is welcome to join the choir. No commitment is required to come and check it out and see if you like it. Feel free to join us at a rehearsal even if you'd like to just sit and listen; visitors are always welcome especially those who think they might like to join. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact our Director, Mr. Brian Dean Sousa through email: music@stauva.org or phone: 434-293-8081 ext. 15
